This page explains how Truthifi's Prompt Gallery works, what we're responsible for, and what you agree to when you run a prompt from the gallery.

Who the Prompt Gallery is for

The Prompt Gallery is designed for Truthifi users who want to explore AI-powered analysis of their portfolio data. Prompts are structured instructions—not financial advice—and outputs should be treated accordingly. This gallery is not a substitute for personalised financial guidance. If you are looking for financial advice tailored to your situation, please speak with a qualified financial professional.

What prompts do

Prompts are structured instructions sent to an AI language model. Truthifi's Prompt Gallery connects those prompts to your financial data via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard supported by multiple AI providers.

Some prompts connect to your Truthifi account via MCP to retrieve live financial data for the session
The AI interprets those instructions and produces outputs — which are non-deterministic and may vary between sessions
Truthifi authors some of the community prompts but does not control, review, or guarantee the AI's outputs.
Before publishing a community-submitted prompt, we may review it and edit or decline it at our discretion. We may decline prompts that contain harmful instructions, remove safety disclaimers, violate applicable law, or do not meet our quality standards.
Outputs are historical data analysis only and do not constitute recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security or other financial instrument.

What Truthifi is not responsible for

AI output accuracy: outputs are produced by third-party AI language models and may contain errors, omissions, or hallucinations.
Financial outcomes: nothing in the gallery constitutes investment, tax, legal, or financial advice; outputs do not constitute recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security; consult a qualified professional before making any decisions.
Output variation: AI responses are non-deterministic; the same prompt may produce different results in different sessions
Prompt modifications: if you alter a prompt, remove safety language, or repurpose it outside its stated scope, Truthifi's guardrails no longer apply
Third-party AI behaviour: Truthifi does not control the models, APIs, or infrastructure of its AI model providers; changes those providers make may affect prompt outputs
Outputs you share: if you share AI-generated content, including content containing your financial data, that sharing is entirely your responsibility

What Truthifi does commit to

Truthifi-authored prompts are designed with care and written to include appropriate safety and privacy considerations. Community-submitted prompts are reviewed at our discretion, but Truthifi makes no warranty that any prompt, once modified by a user, will produce safe or accurate outputs.

No personal financial data is stored, logged, or transmitted beyond what our Privacy Policy describes
Truthifi will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the gallery and update prompts when significant changes to MCP APIs or AI model behaviour are identified.
You can report concerns or request prompt removal by reaching out to us at support@truthifi.com.

Your responsibilities

By accessing and running gallery prompts, you agree that:

You have read and understood these terms
You take personal responsibility for how you run, modify, and share prompts and their outputs
You will not use prompts to generate content intended to mislead, deceive, or harm others
You will not redistribute modified prompts that remove Truthifi's safety disclaimers
Outputs containing your financial data are sensitive, and you will handle them accordingly

When a prompt connects to your Truthifi account via MCP, your financial data is retrieved for that session only. Truthifi's MCP server does not store or log the contents of AI tool responses or conversation context. Changes to these terms

Truthifi may update these terms at any time. We will post a notice on this page before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Prompt Gallery after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Truthifi's total liability arising out of or related to these terms or the Prompt Gallery shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Truthifi in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

In no event shall Truthifi be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or financial losses arising from your use of or reliance on any prompt output, even if Truthifi has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
